Survey Technician/Land Surveyor

Survey Technician/Land Surveyor – Responsibilities

  • Assist the survey and engineering PMs with all aspects of the daily office workload.
  • Communicate with the office & field personnel with daily workload and schedules.
  • Daily uploading and downloading of data collectors and reduction of files.
  • Survey computations for boundary and topographic surveys and construction stakeout.
  • Drafting of Boundary, ALTA, topographic, as-built surveys, location surveys & record plats.
  • Computations and cut-sheet preparation on a daily or as needed basis.

Survey Tech/Land Surveyor – Qualifications

  • Seeking a minimum of 4+ years of land survey experience.
  • Must have good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Must have strong AutoCAD drafting and computing skills.
  • Must be proficient with land record research.
  • Survey experience including boundary surveys, topographic surveys, GPS control surveys, construction stakeout for residential and commercial projects is highly preferred.
  • Experience with Trimble, Leica, AutoCAD/Civil 3D highly preferred.
