Project Architect – Requirements
• Bachelors or Master’s Degree in Architecture from a NAAB accredited program.
• Minimum of 5-10 years of experience as an architect/designer on built projects.
• Demonstrates mastery of REVIT, AutoCAD, Sketch-up and Adobe CSS programs.
• Architectural Registration is preferred.
• LEED accreditation is preferred.
Project Architect – Responsibilities
• Provides overall leadership for multiple and complicated residential, mixed-use and commercial projects.
• Evaluate design requirements; prepare and/or supervise site and building analysis.
• Explores innovative design concepts and solutions.
• Prepares and presents design drawings and assists in presentations both internally and externally (to clients, and to review organizations).
• Supervises the development of renderings and presentation materials for client and/or public presentations.
• Generates project documents including plans, sections, details, and project manual in coordination of a complete construction document package.
• Collaborates with other lead professionals to ensure design and documentation are in accordance with project expectations.
• Collaborates with Team Leaders to develop, monitor and facilitate project schedules.
• Is a major contributor during client meetings and presentations, providing leadership and organization.
• Oversees the design work of others, promoting integrated and cohesive designs.
• Presents design solutions to client representatives and/or design review committees.
• Mentors and trains younger team members and peers.
• Maintains and develops relationships with existing clients and cultivates new client relationships.
