Marketing Manager

The Marketing Manager will manage the following responsibilities and others without limitation:
- Researches and gathers market information related to potential clients and projects
- Leads and/or participates in proposal meetings, project interview planning and presentation rehearsals
- Edits final documentation to maintain quality and ensure alignment with brand standards and solicitation requirements
- Organizes marketing resources to maximize the firm’s participation at conferences, events and exhibits
- Identifies and manages studio-specific marketing needs, such as communicating projects nearing completion to relevant marketing team members
- Builds collaborative relationships with operations, technical, marketing and design staff to facilitate knowledge-sharing and effective business development efforts
- Supervises, coaches, trains and develops high-performing marketing coordinators
- Participates in and facilitates the development and implementation of business development strategies
- Facilitates and implements pre-pursuit activities such as lead-tracking and coordination
- Monitors RFP/RFQ tracking websites and distributes solicitations via email to relevant parties for Go / No-Go decisions
- Conducts RFQ/RFP review and/or strategy sessions to analyze potential clients in terms of target market, project size, probability of selection and timing; makes Go / No-Go recommendations
- Leads the development of pursuit win strategies and identifies firm differentiators related to each effort
- Participates in and facilitates post-submission debriefs both internally and externally, tracks and analyzes feedback and provides recommendations for future improvements
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or related field
- Minimum of seven (7) years relevant experience in the A/E/C Industry preferably with a minimum of two years in a management role
- Experience managing complex projects independently and juggling conflicting priorities
- Strong written, editing, project management and communication skills
- Self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment and delivers results with minimal oversight
- Able to proactively acquire information and quickly understand complex requirements and requests
- Excellent leadership, mentoring and teaching skills
- Effective interpersonal skills and presence to interact with all levels in an organization
- Demonstrated problem solving and critical thinking skills
